today's walk was accompanied by gray skies and the sound of raindrops landing on my wet gear. While many parts of the world have been dealing with drought, wild fires and heat, here we have had more rain than usual and even flooding and property damage in some areas.

still, the lushness of the forest around me reminds me of the value of water to all liming things.

When water meets water it gathers together, in ponds, lakes, rivers, and puddles. Each drop adding to the whole. It bobbles my mind at the sheer power of water to shape lives and environment.

Still, it would be nice to see the sun soon!
